The ICFR produces several scientific publications which include internal reports (Bulletins and Technical Notes) as well as Peer-reviewed Papers. We also produce various handbooks, technology transfer documents such as our field guides, and general information publications such as our Annual Research Reviews. Most of our internal reports are proprietary and access to these is limited to our funding members, while other documents are freely available to everyone. To access our closed reports, ICFR members and research collaborators need to log in to the website (please first create an account if you don't have one).

Winter chilling is a key environmental trigger of floral induction in temperate Eucalyptus. Over the past two decades, considerable site × eucalypt flowering interaction research has been undertaken over a range of high elevation (>1 100 m asl) forestry sites in the South African summer rainfall area. A practical method of accurately monitoring eucalypt bud temperature at remote sites in these areas was needed for this research.
